Kinsta pricing yearly

Note the following with regards to Kinsta’s pricing:

  • Kinst’s pricing system is categorized into several levels. They have the Starter and Pro plans for starting and growing sites and the Business plans (there are 4) for businesses. And then there are the Enterprise plans (again, there are 4) for sites with high demands and millions of visitors.
  • Kinsta is not offering introductory prices. However, you can save a lot of money when you opt to pay annually as your chosen plan will come with 2 free months. Therefore, for a 12-month period, you’ll only pay for 10 months.
  • More expensive plans can host more WordPress sites.
  • More expensive plans carry more storage spaces.
  • More expensive plans can accommodate more visitors per month.
  • All of Kinsta’s plans come with free SSL certificates and CDN features.
  • You can choose to host your WordPress website/s among Kinsta’s datacenters (they have over 15 located all around the globe). You can even opt to host each of your sites to a different server location.
  • All of Kinsta’s plans come with 30-day money-back guarantees.

Support

Kinsta’s WordPress experts support team is available to help its customers 24/7. Their best support system comes in the form of their live chat which is accessible through the dashboard (you need to be logged into your account).

They also have a ticketing system wherein you can send your concerns, issues, and questions through e-mail. Their support team will then get back to you to help you with the problem at hand.

You can also check out Kinsta’s knowledge base of articles and tutorials on their official website. They have lots of helpful materials there that are organized into categories.

Kinsta currently has no phone support option, which is a bit of a disappointment for us. However, keep in mind that their live chat and e-mail support are available 24/7 – and their response times are instant (give or take a few seconds or minutes).

Pros

1. Superb customer service

Well, we just talked about Kinsta’s great customer support and we like it a lot. There’s nothing like knowing there’s a WordPress expert to help you out at any time of the day, right?

2. Kinsta is fast

We’re talking about a hosting company that prioritizes speed (among other things, of course). In Kinsta’s case, they really loaded their WordPress infrastructure with features that will ensure fast loading of sites and pages under their care. And because they have servers around the world, it honestly doesn’t matter if you’re looking for WordPress hosting for Australia, or Canadian WordPress hosting, or even want to find WordPress hosting for Singapore… Kinsta will deliver!

3. Excellent uptime record

Kinsta’s system is designed to monitor every site they’re hosting every 5 minutes. Any problem (e.g. downtimes) will then be fixed immediately.

4. Uptime guarantee

Kinsta is giving their clients 99.9% uptime guarantees on all their plans. They’re also offering rebates for downtimes – but don’t expect to make frequent claims on this as they really have a good record for staying online (up to 100% of the time).

5. Scalable plans

You’ll notice on their plans that they have up to 10 options to choose from. This gives you a lot of leeways to upgrade your chosen package at any time (as your need arises).

6. Great security features

Kinsta has built-in security features to protect all the sites that they’re hosting. They’re also constantly monitoring sites to fix them as soon as security breaches are caught.

7. Daily backups

Kinsta sites are automatically backed up every day for easy restoration in case of crashes and the like. The standard backups are free (with 14 days retention on their lowest plan), but you can always upgrade to their paid feature (e.g. hourly backups).

8. Free migration

Kinsta is offering free transfers of websites from other hosting companies. And remember, these site migrations are handled by an expert WordPress team.

9. Custom cPanel

Kinsta has its own control panel setup – they optimized it for WordPress use. Note that the standard cPanel setup is meant for general use.

10. Easy WordPress installation

You can create your WordPress sites with just a few clicks (from the control panel).

Cons

1. There are banned WordPress plugins

Know that Kinsta has its own set of plugins and apps for the WordPress environment. As such, they’re not allowing A LOT of third-party WordPress apps as these may prove to be conflicting with their pre-installed plugins.

2. Custom cPanel instead of the standard one

While we listed Kinsta’s custom cPanel as a pro, we also know that some people (those who are used to the standard version) may not like it. If you’re already familiar with the standard control panel, know that you’ll need to learn Kinsta’s cPanel to know your way around it. That being said, it’s super easy 🙂

3. Prices aren’t cheap

This can be expected from managed WordPress hosting plans. They’re simply more expensive than shared hosting packages since they’re specially designed for WordPress-use.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a hosting solution that’s optimized for WordPress websites, know that Kinsta makes for a good choice. Its main difference among other WordPress hosts is that it uses the Google cloud platform (and is therefore powered by Google’s very own infrastructure).

With Kinsta, you’re also given the power to assign servers for your website/s. They currently have around 17 global servers situated all around the world to ensure your site speed.

Kinsta’s 99.9% uptime guarantee is also impressive and comforting (we don’t want downtimes). Not only are they reliable on their service, but they’re also offering compensations for downtimes (chances for this are slim, but the offer is still good).

Look at the pros and cons again and you’ll see how the pros greatly outnumber the cons. Some of the most notable pros include uptime, speed, and freebies (SSL, CDN, security, backups, migrations, and more).

And hey, Kinsta has one of the best customer support platforms. WordPress experts are reachable 24/7 via live chat and e-mail – and response times are quick!

We actually found it a bit difficult to find cons for Kinsta, but we wanted to make a balanced review and managed to find a few. With regards to the banned plugins, we know that this will somehow affect you if you have some favorite WordPress plugins that you always use on your WordPress sites. However, keep in mind that Kinsta is a WordPress hosting platform and their apps and plugins for WordPress are already complete. You have every plugin and app that you need right there and then.

As for their custom cPanel, note that this is not just any control panel. Kinsta designed a cPanel that’s especially optimized for WordPress sites (again, that’s a good thing). Know, too, that they managed to create a user-friendly WordPress control panel which is very easy to learn.

Kinsta’s prices are competitive with other WordPress hosting providers, so we really don’t think that their prices should be an issue. The best thing about their pricing system is that you can always upgrade or downgrade as needed.

All in all, we can say that Kinsta is a good catch. There’s no reason to delay getting one of their plans – so just do it.
