About Pressidium
Founded in 2013, Pressidium was officially launched in 2014. The founding team was mostly comprised of engineers (Andrew Georges, Filip Slavik, John Andriopoulus, and Giannis Zachariadis) – and together they developed a managed WordPress hosting service.
The team’s WordPress solution to hosting aims to provide professional services to people who want to create WordPress sites. They want their brand to be trustworthy throughout the whole world. Did they accomplish their goals? In general, we can say they did.
Pressidium has 4 major data centers strategically located in different parts of the world. They have one in North America, one in Europe, one in Oceania, and another one in the Asia Pacific. They also have more than 20 other strategically located data centers around the world.
This award-winning WordPress web hosting company also received some recognitions over the years. One worth mentioning was given by Kevin Ohashi (creator of Review Signal) – it was for Top Tier WordPress Hosting Performance.
If you’re interested in getting one of their plans, we listed their pricing packages below.
Pricing
1. Micro
You can get Pressidium’s starter plan called Micro for $24.90 per month if you’re going to pay monthly. However, if you opt to pay yearly, your monthly cost will only be $21 per month.
For this plan, you’ll be allowed 1 WordPress install and get 5GB SSD storage space and unlimited bandwidth (equivalent to about 10,000 visits per month).
As the name of the plan suggests, this package is only intended to run just 1 website with minimal requirements.
2. Personal
Pressidium’s Personal plan is a lot bigger than their Micro plan. In fact, you can use it to create (and run) more than one website. It will cost you $49.90 per month if you’re paying monthly, but only $42 per month if you’re paying annually.
This plan allows for up to 3 WordPress sites and includes 10GB SSD storage space. It also comes with unlimited bandwidth that can accommodate up to 30,000 visitors per month.
3. Professional
Pressidium’s Professional plan is intended for people with several websites. It’s currently priced at $149.90 per month if you opt to pay monthly. You can also choose to pay yearly and save on some cash as you will only be charged $125 per month.
You can have up to 10 WordPress installs with this plan and get 20GB of SSD storage space with it. It also has an unlimited bandwidth feature equivalent to about 100,000 visits per month.
4. Business
Created for businesses with high demands for WordPress features, you can get this plan for $299.90 per month. If you opt to pay annually, your monthly charges will only be $250 per month.
You’re allowed up to a maximum of 25 WordPress websites with this package. You’ll also get 30GB SSD storage space and unlimited bandwidth suitable for about 500,000 visits per month.
5. Business Plus
This is Pressidium’s most expensive plan – priced at $599 per month if you’re paying monthly. Pay annually and your monthly cost will only be $500 per month.
You can host up to 50 WordPress sites with this plan and it comes with 40GB SSD storage space. Its unlimited bandwidth also allows for up to a million visitors per month.
6. Enterprise Plans
Pressidium’s Enterprise plans actually come in many custom packages – you’ll need to get a quotation from the company when you plan on getting one of their Enterprise packages. With a starting price of $790 per month, you can host an unlimited number of WordPress websites with it and accommodate millions of visits per month.
Enterprise plans are really intended for large sites such as government agencies, universities, publishing companies, e-commerce, and the like.
Custom plans under the Enterprise packages are indeed more powerful and feature-rich than their other plans. In fact, you’ll get 24/7 phone support from WordPress experts (and engineers) and a dedicated account manager for this package.
Here are some things to consider with regards to Pressidium’s pricing plans:
- While Pressidium doesn’t offer introductory prices that will save you some money on your initial purchase, they’re offering discounts on annual payments. Therefore, their prices are transparent on a monthly or yearly basis. Renewal prices are also the same.
- All plans get expert support from Pressidium’s WordPress experts.
- All plans get free SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt.
- All plans get automatic daily backups. If you want, you can also manually back up your site.
- All plans get free site transfers from expert WordPress developers and engineers.
- All plans get free security features like firewall, malware monitoring and removal, bad bots filtering, and more.
- Only the Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise plans get dedicated Account Managers.
Support
If you’re a Pressidium customer, you can contact their support team for any problem 24/7. To send them a ticket, you need to log in to their portal first. They also have an e-mail address that you can send messages to.
They don’t have live chat at the moment, and their phone support is only available to Enterprise plan subscribers.
If you’re into troubleshooting and researching, you can also check out their knowledge base at their official site. It contains a lot of helpful articles on their products and services to help you along.
Pressidium also has a Cloud status page where you can get updates about their current state. You can check this page if you’re experiencing some problems on your website (maybe sending a ticket is unnecessary when you know the reason behind some issues).
In all its simplicity, Pressidium actually has a good reputation for their customer support. Their response times are quick (remember, they’re available 24/7) and these WordPress experts really know their way around WordPress.

10. Money-back guarantees
Pressidium is giving its customers a very generous 60-day money-back guarantees (new accounts only). You can decide to cancel your plan within 60 days and get a full refund of your money.
Cons
It’s a bit expensive, but you’re paying for peace of mind so you can hardly call it something negative 🙂
Conclusion
If you’ve never heard of Pressidium before, now is the time to pay attention. As you can see above, the pros we found on them greatly outnumber the cons. The truth is, we barely managed to come up with a con on this one. 5GB is not too bad for a startup plan as these plans are made for beginners with minimal needs. We also like that their lower-priced plans are quite affordable (especially for WordPress hosting).
Needless to say, we like (and are impressed) by their customer service – they’re very reliable for WordPress support (and available 24/7). Their global reach is also ensured by their datacenters and CDN feature (which also contributes to their speed).
Their solid security system is also worth mentioning as this is truly very important these days. And of course, there’s their 60-day money-back guarantee which is more than enough to test their product and services.
And so, while Pressidium is quite expensive when compared to standard shared hosting plans, they actually appear cheap when compared to other managed WordPress hosting services. Price-wise and feature-wise, we should compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges, right? And since Pressidium’s performance and prices seem to be better than other WordPress hosting packages, it’s only right that we recommend it.
Yes, yes, yes – Pressidium is so much worth it. If you’re already considering them, there’s no reason for you not to get one of their plans.
